My name is Caroline and I want to help you love your body by designing a fitness programme that you enjoy, that challenges you and that is going to make you feel good!
I’ve had a lifelong connection to health and fitness, having been a competitive swimmer in my youth, but I started my own journey into weight training in 2018 with a desire to lose some baby weight, but mostly because I wanted to feel strong mentally and physically.
Weight training has changed my whole perspective on how capable and resilient I am, and how much my body can do for me. I am more body confident now than I have ever been, even after having 2 children.
I believe that exercise is, and should be fun when you find the right fit for you, whether it’s an exercise class with music, a calming pilates session, swimming, Crossfit, weight training or something else.
Whatever your reasons, whatever your goals, I’d love to support you on your journey to loving your body and feeling strong, so message me for how we can get started.


Find Your Why
We know that moving our bodies is key to a healthier and longer life, but it's not always easy to start or stay active. Why?
It may because you haven't found or may have lost sight of your "why".
Why do you want to start exercising?
Why do you want to keep active?
It will differ for each of us.
Perhaps you have an event that you want to look and feel your best for. Maybe you have children or grandchildren that you want to have more energy for. You could be training for an event. You might simply want to start making healthier choices.
No matter what your "why", having someone on your side to remind you of yours can be very powerful. Personal Training is a great way to invest in yourself now and for the future

Women and Weight Training
I am a huge advocate for strong women in all guises, and it's particularly exciting to see the shift in women lifting weights.
If this is a new idea to you, don't worry - you are not alone, and I've been there! For years I thought that cardio was the only way to lose weight and get fit. I found it boring and uncomfortable and it never really got the results I wanted.
Thanks to a friend who loaned me my first ever free weights and some incredible online sources, I started exploring the world of resistance training, and I have never looked back!
Not only does weightlifting and resistance training improve your muscular strength but it also increases bone density and improves joint stability. Due to the increase in lean muscle, your metabolism is improved leading to reduced body fat. Building a strong back and core can reduce back pain. Weight training can improve cardiovascular health, lowering blood pressure and reduce the risk of diabetes.
And if you are concerned that weight training will leave you looking “bulky” or ”masculine”, think again. Men gain their size due their higher testosterone levels. Women have about 10% of the levels men have, and so weight training help to develop muscle tone, but without gaining size.
Your training programme should be fun for you, and if you love cardio we will include that! But I want you to know that the best way to change your body composition and feel like a strong, capable, sexy, kick-ass woman is to lift weights, and I’m ready to help you get started!
